Russia’s Troika Dialog has appointed Dean Tyler from rival VTB Capital to head international fixed income sales, marking the latest in a series of senior hires following Sberbank’s acquisition of the firm in January.
Tyler (pictured) will be based in the London office or Troika Dialog, reporting to CEO Paolo Zaniboni and Maxim Safonov, head of fixed income at the currencies and commodities division.
Mazen Nomura was recently appointed head of credit trading, Kirill Zarezov assumed the position of head of FIG sales, Evgeny Ageshin joined as head of corporate sales, and Andrew Howe as international fixed income sales director.
Tyler will head the entire international FI sales network, centred in Moscow, London, and New York. He moves from his position as head of the fixed income sales team at VTB Capital.
Troika Dialog officially merged with Sberbank of Russia on 23 January, forming the largest universal banking institution in Russia.
Troika’s key business areas are securities sales and trading, investment banking, private wealth and asset management, direct and venture investments, and personal investment and finance. Besides Russia it operates in New York, London, Nicosia, Kyiv and Almaty.
