French wealth management company Taurus Gestion Privée has launched the Taurus Sélection fund on 18 August 2017.
The new diversified strategy of the Clermont-Ferrand-based firm aims to outperform the eurozone’s harmonised index of consumption prices excluding tobacco + 4% on a rolling period of four years.
The fund will invest mainly in equities, bonds and money market instruments either in direct line or through other investment funds and trackers.
It has been split in three pockets, the investment of which has been delegated to three asset managers for each of the fund’s compartments : Mirabaud & Cie (Europe), Wiseam and Swiss Life Asset Management (France).
Among constraints of the fund remain a limited exposure of 40% of the fund’s assets to small and mid-caps and emerging markets stocks.
The fund exposure to convertible bonds is limited to 30% while that to high yield or unrated bonds cannot exceed 60%.
Taurus Gestion Privée was launched in 2009.
