M&Gs Mike Riddell to join Allianz GI
Allianz Global Investors (Allianz GI) has announced the expansion of its European fixed income team through the appointment of Mike Riddell (pictured) as UK fixed income portfolio manager.
Based in London, he will contribute to the Allianz GI’s strategic outlook on the fixed income sector and will write for the group’s fixed income blog. He reports to Mauro Vittorangeli, CIO for Conviction Fixed Income at Allianz Global Investors.
He joins Allianz GI from M&G, where he spent more than 12 years, working on a range of fixed income funds and actively contributed towards the Bond Vigilantes blog and was particularly well-known for his bearish view of China.
