Private bank Donner & Reuschel has set up its own department for activities in the field of alternative investment with a ten-member team headed by Thomas Ronfeld.
The team will be responsible for over-the-counter investments in order to look for profitable investments with low correlations to listed asset classes search.
Ronfeld has been with Donner & Reuschel since 2008 and previously worked for the bank in various managerial positions, including head of Proprietary Trading and head of Corporate Finance. Most recently he was head of Primary Markets Alternative Assets & Real Estate.
The focus on alternative forms of financing and investment opportunities in the areas of real estate, private equity, infrastructure and renewable energies was due to the rapid growth of alternative investment forms, pushing the bank to set up a team.
