Vaud Cantonal Bank (BCV) has appointed Riccardo Cutruneo as the new head in Zurich. BCV has been represented in German-speaking Switzerland since 2010 and Cutruneo has been working for BCV Asset Management since September 2017. He is responsible for the fund distribution and development of the institutional client business in German-speaking Switzerland.
From 2014 to 2017, Cutruneo was head of Sales at Complementa Investment-Controlling AG, responsible for market development in Switzerland and all neighbouring regions. Previously, he worked for Deutsche Asset & Wealth Management (Deutsche Bank Group), where he was responsible for more than eight years in acquisition of institutional clients and distribution partners in German-speaking Switzerland and Ticino.
BCV, which has had a branch office in Zurich since 2010, decided to move to a larger office in the centre of the Swiss financial capital in view of the stable growth in business volume. In Zurich, it offers all the services that pension fund decision-makers (public institutions or foundations) and corporate executives expect in the context of institutional asset management.
