Former head of Investment Advisory & Family Office Service at Banca Albertini Syz, Simone Bordoni (pictured), has joined Banca Cesare Ponti to lead the Wealth Management division, InvestmentEurope can reveal exclusively.
Banca Cesare Ponti, which is the private banking arm of Gruppo Banca Carige, said it hired Bordoni to help revamp the group’s private banking activities.
Bordoni will report to director general Daniele Piccolo, who was also recently appointed from Banca Albertini Syz.
Both Bordoni and Piccolo have worked at Banca Albertini Syz for 9 years, with Piccolo covering the role of co-director general.
Prior to joining Albertini Syz, Bordoni worked for Istifid’s family office and started his career as fund analyst at CFS Rating.
Piccolo commented: “Simone’s appointment fits Gruppo Banca Carige’s business development plan to boost and innovate its private banking activities.”
