Following the launch of its Frankfurt office in 2015, Assenagon has hired Ilona Wachter as managing director Customer Coverage.
She joins Assenagon from Spängler IQAM Invest, where she was responsible for expanding business with institutional customers as Head of Business Development.
Prior to that, she worked among others at Muzinich & Co, BNP Paribas Investment Partners, Quoniam Asset Management, DZ Bank, HypoVereinsbank and Norddeutsche Landesbank.
Assenagon was established in 2007 and currently manages €17bn in assets, it has offices in Munich and Frankfurt.
