Brooks Macdonald, the UK investment manager with some £11bn (€12.3bn) in funds under management, has appointed Jennifer Carter and Johnathon Rivers investment managers based at the firm’s offices in the English county of Hampshire.
Carter (pictured below) previously worked at Charles Stanley as an investment manager, while Rivers worked at Rathbone Investment Management in a similar position. Carter has some 25 years of experience in financial services, while Rivers has a decade under his belt. Before Rathbone IM he worked at Canaccord Genuity Wealth.
The appointments are primarily intended to boost growth in the UK market. As a firm, the Alternative Investment Market listed Brooks Macdonald group targets high net worth individuals, pension funds, institutions, charities and trust, as well as offshore fund management and administration services. It has offices across the UK and in the Channel Islands.
