Andy Pomfret has been appointed to the Board of Old Mutual Wealth Management, taking up the char of the Audit Committee and joining the Board Risk and Remuneration Committees, as he is tasked with helping develop a UK retail investment business.
Pomfret is currently a non executive director of Graphite Enterprise Trust and Aberdeen New Thai Investment Trust – both UK listed investment companies.
Previously, he was chief executive officer at Rathbone Brothers for a decade. Other roles included some 13 years at Kleinwort Benson.
Following Pomfret’s appointment, the Old Mutual Wealth board now includes Simon Davies, chairman of the JP Morgan Overseas Investment Trust and chairman of Square Mile Investment Consulting and Research, Charlie Eppinger, founder of IFDS, Jane Hanson, non-executive director at Direct Line Insurance Group plc and chairman of Reclaim Fund Ltd, and Sandy Leitch, chairman of BUPA.
