VFS Group appointments aim for growth
The VFS Group has made two senior appointments at VFS Holdings Ltd as it prepares for expansion in target markets.

Andre le Roux (pictured) is managing director to lead day-to-day operations focusing on growth and expanding the firm's sales force. He joins from The Henley Group in Singapore, where he was chief executive officer. Le Roux has 29 years of experience in senior management roles in large firms including Nedbank, First National Bank, Commercial Union and Old Mutual International, a company statement said.
Andrew Pletzer is appointed general manager, reporting to le Roux and focusing on building the business in Mauritius and Africa and managing international risk and life assurance products.He joins from MLP, a financial advisory brokerage, where he was involved in the launch of the firm's office in Scotland and in marketing products to high net worth customers. He has over 10 years’ experience in the financial services industry.
Peter de Putron, chief executive, VFS group, said the appointments would contribute to “further establishing VFS into [a] global network of financial advisers.”
Both Le Roux and Pletzer will be based in the firm’s Mauritius office. Working under the brands of VFS International and VFS Europe, the group has clients in Europe, the eastern Mediterranean and Africa.
