Edward Tollemache has joined Wren Investment Office as client relationship director, becoming the sixth former colleague to join from a team that used to work at Lord North Street before it was acquired by Sandaire three years ago.
Wren, which was formed a year ago, then saw five out of its seven industry executives come from Lord North Street. This included Daniel de Fernando of MdF, CIO of Wren, Drew McNeil and Eirian Jones, who together worked on the former investment committee of Lord North Street.
Wren says that since its launch, total client assets under management and advice have climbed to some £500m, while the business moved to a larger office in Buckingham Palace Road in June. It is part-owned by MdF Family Partners in Spain (MdF) and WE Family Offices in the USA (WE). It is targeting individuals, families, endowment funds and charities, where there are long-term requirements including multi-generational investment advice and management. The links to its owners mean Wren’s clients have access to “a global investment perspective”, the firm said.
Tollemache’s (pictured) role includes providing investment advice, and implementing asset allocation and portfolio decisions on behalf of a range of clients, including large families and charitable endowments. This continues a role he played at Sandaire Investment Office, and before that at Fleming Family and Partners and Merrill Lynch Private Client Group.
