Old Mutual Wealth has added former chief executive of Aviva UK Life, David Barral as its independent customer champion.
Barral, who led the largest business unit within the Aviva Plc Group across a five year tenure, will be supporting the Old Mutual Wealth’s Customer Outcomes Forum in its bid to promote best practice in financial services.
He will conduct his duties alongside current roles as a non-executive director at LV=, chairman of Vantage Finance and chairman of Virgin Wines.
Old Mutual Wealth said in a statement that Barral will promote customer-centric behaviours across Old Mutual Wealth, including the UK Platform, Intrinsic, Quilter Cheviot, Old Mutual Global Investors and Old Mutual International.
