VAM Funds launches online valuation tool for DFM fund range

Luxembourg’s VAM Funds, today launched a new online valuation system for its VAM Close Brothers discretionary fund range.

The company said that its new online system now allows investment professionals to access clients’ portfolio information, fund prices and information on their current investment valuations.

The online tool is available initially to advisers who use VAM’s discretionary fund management offering.

Advisers can now download and retrieve “instant digital management information” and retrieve extensive details regarding their clients’ holdings, including portfolio overviews.

The new offering also provides advisers with access to current investment valuations and portfolio asset allocations, current fund prices and the ability to easily create and monitor deal notes.

Clean share class

The announcement follows on from the recent launch of a clean share class option across VAM’s full fund range.  The new share class offers advisers globally more choice on how they levy their advice fees, with VAM now offering both A and D share class options.

The new D share class also provides advisers and their clients with competitive access to VAM’s UCITS V regulated funds, with an annual management charge of 0.85%, the company said.

David Macdonald, sales and marketing director, VAM Funds, said: “Over the years, we have invested heavily in delivering market-leading technology, and our latest online valuation system for our VAM Close Brothers investment proposition takes this to the next stage.

“VAM’s international discretionary fund management service gives advisers access to talented fund managers and expert tactical asset allocation through a team of 60 plus investment professionals at Close Brothers Asset Management.

Now, this is combined with leading-edge technology to put everything advisers might need from VAM at their fingertips.”
