As of September 1 2017, Bouas-Laurent will take up the additional role, subject to regulatory approvals.

Bouas-Laurent will succeed Stuart Harrison from August 31 2017, in the role. He will continue to report to Jean-Louis Laurent Josi, regional CEO of Axa Asia. Harrison will become director and senior advisor.

Before joining Axa Asia in 2016, Bouas-Laurent was the chief financial officer at Axa Germany and previously led the wealth management business in France.

Premier Assurance Group

Premier Assurance Group, the Coral Gables, Florida-based insurance company, has named Hans Krogh-Hansen, (pictured left), to the position of regional business development director. Krogh-Hansen suceeds Jack Farji, who has left the company, PA Group said in a statement.

Prior to joining PA Group, Krogh-Hansen had most recently worked as a sales executive for State Farm Insurance; other previous roles included a stint as a regional sales director for Bupa, where he oversaw several markets including the Caribbean, Central America and the “Southern Cone”, as the lower portion of South America is sometimes referred to.

At PA Group, Krogh-Hansen will be responsible for overseeing sales of the company’s health products to international clients, while also managing existing and potential distribution sales channels, and identifying new business opportunities within the Caribbean, Southern Cone, Brazil and Central America, the company said.

Sanne Group

Sanne Group, the Jersey-based, FTSE 250-listed provider of trust and fund administration services, has named Sean Murray, (pictured left), to head up its EMEA fund services operations, out of its Luxembourg offices.

Murray comes to Sanne from Orangefield, also in Luxembourg, where he was managing director and a member of the company’s global alternative investments management board. He also sat on the board and management team of Vistra Luxembourg, after Orangefield, which was acquired by Barings in 2015, was merged with Barings’ Vistra Group and rebranded as Vistra last year.

Among Murray’s other previous roles were senior positions with Northern Trust, both in Luxembourg and Guernsey. He is a fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants.

Based in Sanne’s Luxembourg office, Murray will be responsible for the development of the company’s fund services offering, working in the alternative asset product area divisions in which Sanne specialises.

London & Capital

London & Capital, the independently owned wealth and asset manager, has appointed Simon Tuck as its head of UK Wealth, effective immediately.

Tuck will one of a number of new hires being brought into the company. He will be based in London, reporting to Daniel Freedman, managing director and founder, London & Capital said in a statement announcing the hire..

Tuck joins from Weatherbys Private Bank, where he focused on high net worth clients. Prior to this, he was head of Financing Planning at C.Hoare & Co.  He is qualified as both a Certified Financial Planner through the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment (CISI) and Chartered Financial Planner through the Chartered Insurance Institute (CII).

Waverton

Waverton Investment Management has announced the appointment of Chaiyarit ‘Hoon’ Valyasevi as an analyst.

Based in Waverton’s recently-opened Bangkok Representative office, Hoon will join Brook Tellwright and Doug Barnett in “uncovering investment opportunities” across the Southeast Asian region.

Waverton’s Southeast Asian investment strategy employs a high-conviction, bottom-up approach which relies heavily on the analyst team travelling the region meeting the management of companies below the radar of the ETF and other more passive strategies, the company said.

Hoon joins from Thailand’s state-owned energy corporation, PTT Public Company Limited where he was responsible for business development.  He graduated from Imperial College, London with a Masters in Chemical Engineering (MEng) in 2014.
