Swiss Banking giant Julius Baer has named Eleanor Yuen to head up its wealth and tax planning advisory operations in Asia.
Yuan, pictured, who will be based in Hong Kong, joins the firm with immediate effect and will lead specialised teams to provide wealth and tax planning services to clients in the region, the Swiss bank said in a statement. It said the position was “a new regional appointment”.
Most recently Yuen had been with Credit Suisse Trust for 11 years, where her most recent title was global head, wealth planners. She also has held senior roles in trust administration and marketing at Citibank, Schroder Investment Management and HSBC International Trustee Ltd, Julius Baer said in a statement announcing her appointment.
AT Julius Baer she reports to Luigi Vignola, head of the bank’s markets investment solutions group in Asia Pacific, and “functionally” to Roger Stutz, global head wealth and tax planning, Julius Baer said.
