Guernsey-based pension specialist Concept Group has unveiled its latest product under the Aurora brand, which it describes as a “low cost offshore trust wrapper product”.
The Aurora Advantage Trust is a full Guernsey discretionary trust, and will give investors access to a range of options, according to a Concept Group statement: from single investment policies, such as portfolio bonds and discretionary managed accounts, to more complex products, such investment portfolios containing alternative investments, including property and private equity.
Concept Group’s sales and marketing manager Sean Gillease, (pictured), said the product had been developed in response to “significant market demand for a low cost offshore trust wrapper product”.
He said it would be least costly when used with a single investment policy, where the standard fees would be a £495 establishment fee and £495 annual trustee responsibility fee.
Concept said its new product differs from many “short form” trusts currently available in the market because, unlike them, it is not limited to single investments.
The Aurora Advantage Trust is a reserved powers trust which means that a client and their adviser can, if they want, be directly involved in the management of the investments held within the trust.
