The Swedish Investment Fund Association has issued updated guidelines for its member firms affecting their marketing and information activities.
The updates follow discussions between Sifa and the Swedish Consumer Agency.
Sifa’s guidelines concern information and marketing of funds, as well as advice. Tthe Association said that the changes are focused on advertising, marketing intended to create profiles, and when information should be provided via factsheets and information brochures. No other practical changes are effected by the agreement.
