Italy’s Pictet Asset Management branch has reshuffled its top management with the appointment of Manuel Noia (pictured) as country head and the promotion of Luca Di Patrizi as global head (excluding Japan) of Retail and Wholesale distribution, based in Geneva.
Noia, previously head of Sales, will report to Di Patrizi in his new role. Noia joined Pictet in 2007 to help grow the company’s relationship with Italian distributors, while Di Patrizi spearheaded the asset manager’s Italian operation in 1999.
As of today, 70% of Pictet’s assets in Italy consists of sales coming from the local distributors’ job.
Pictet’s sales team will be led by Paolo Paschetta, who joined the company in 2005, while Giambattista Chiarelli will keep being head of Institutional Clients.
Andre Delitala will head the Investment Advisory division.
Both Di Patrizi and Noia said they are committed to growing Pictet’s Italian and global presence further.
