Royal London AM appoints head of Institutional

UK based Royal London Asset Management (RLAM) has appointed John Burke as head of its institutional business.

Burke will take on his role at the beginning of September and report to Rob Williams, head of distribution at RLAM.

He will be responsible for the growth and direction of RLAM’s institutional business.

Burke joins from Newton Investment Management where he was most recently head of Business Development.  He was responsible for UK institutional and charity sales and consultant relationships.

Formerly, Burke was a senior investment consultant for a UK financial services company, advising institutional pension funds on asset strategy and manager selection.

Royal London Asset Management is a mutual life, pensions and investment company based in the UK. Its assets under management amounted to £83.4bn (€113.9bn) as at 30 June 2015.
