The Isle of Man Financial Services Authority has extended by three weeks the deadline for those wishing to comment on its proposed Corporate Governance Code of Practice for the island’s insurance industry.
The consultation had been due to close on 27 October, but comments will now be taken until 17 November, the IOMFSA said in a statement on its website today.
As reported, the consultation opened in August, seeking industry opinion on a 43-page paper that sets out the authority’s plans for amending the Isle of Man’s existing regulatory framework for the insurance sector, sometimes referred to as “the Roadmap”. The draft document containing the new Conduct of Business Code was first published in May.
