Utmost Wealth Solutions has announced six senior appointments to its Isle of Man operations as it goes for growth.
Karl Moore has been appointed as chief financial officer and has joined the boards of the various Utmost companies in the Isle of Man. Moore has years of senior executive experience most latterly with Barclays.
Joining the new CFO, other senior appointments are Neil Cowley, financial controller, Lee Worsfold, finance change manager, Charlotte Barham, finance manager, Charles Groom, actuarial manager and Jonathan Phiri as head of actuarial.
The company has extended its global reach, having doubled assets under management over the last 18 months to €24bn, with further growth expected.
These “key appointments” within its Isle of Man finance department bring a wide range of experience encompassing the international life assurance sector, banking and big four accountancy, the company said in a statement.

Chief executive Mike Foy added: “Utmost Wealth Solutions continues to expand as we realise our aspirations to be a leader in the international wealth solutions market.
“With our assets under management doubling over the last 18 months, and with the new Isle of Man solvency regime having come into force, we have made some key appointments to our finance function over the last few months to maintain a sustainable platform for continued growth.”
The team’s diverse knowledge-base is being directed to spearhead the financial governance of the company’s continued expansion.
The enhanced actuarial function will lead activity in respect of the new Isle of Man solvency requirements and the further development of a robust corporate governance framework.
