Paris-based Truffle Capital has announced the promotion of Antoine Pau (pictured) and Alexandre Ouimet-Storrs as partners.
Pau joined the European venture capital firm in 2008 as investment director in the life sciences sector.
Prior to that, he managed legal audits of pharmaceutical and biotech companies, as well as private equity fundsat Mazars. He also conducted financial due diligence for technology companies in the transaction services department.
Ouimet-Storrs previously worked as investment director in the energy and cleantech sector at Truffle Capital. Formerly, he worked at Air Liquide as an energy manager, Europe, working primarily on physical and financial cogeneration plant optimisation.
As co-founder of two startups in Canada, Ouimet-Storrs has expertise in energy markets, cleantechs, remediation and power production technologies.
Truffle Capital totaled €700m of assets under management and advisory as of 31 December 2014, mostly in institutional and retail private equity funds (FCPRs and FCPIs).
The firm specialises in investments in companies developing breakthrough technologies and products in the information technology and life sciences sectors, in spin-offs and new ventures.
