Indosuez, the global wealth management arm of French banking group Credit Agricole, has renamed Credit Agricole Private Banking Services as Azqore.

Credit Agricole Private Banking was set up in Switzerland in 1992 and currently manages CHF150bn in assets. The unit has offices in Geneva, Lausanne and Singapore, and 30 clients across 11 countries. Azqore’s creation follows a strategic review that started in 2016 and consultation with employees, clients and industry specialists.

Azqore chief executive Pierre Dulon said in a statement: “With its 25 years of experience, Azqore is well positioned to be the go-to partner for private banks and wealth managers which have a need for digital and operational transformation.”

Azqore, which will serve as an independent subsidiary of Indosuez, offers integrated technology services, operational back office and project consultancy through its S2i platform.

The bank recently upgraded its S2i platform in cooperation with long-term partner Capgemini. The upgrade launches new languages, tools, as well as working methods.

The group hopes that the rebranding will develop a core brand proposition and differentiated positioning to help wealth managers and private banks transform their operational efficiency and ensure compliance with regulations.

“The new brand is a major step for Azqore, creating a strong identity for clients and employees alike. It is an identity that embodies the core values and characteristics of the company: an ambitious spirit built on commitment to partners and engineering excellence, as well as a comprehensive offering built around our S2i integrated platform,” Dulon added.
