MSCI has announced that CSOP Asset Management, one of the largest Chinese asset management firms in Hong Kong with over $8bn AUM, has licensed the MSCI China and USA Internet Top 50 Equal Weighted Index for an ETF to be launched shortly.
“We chose MSCI as the index provider for this ETF as the new index delivers broad coverage of globally recognized Internet companies, which we believe play an important role on defining the future of the world economy,” said Jack Wang, Deputy Chief Marketing Officer of CSOP Asset Management.
“As a leading ETF provider we were also impressed with the high level of support from MSCI.”

With over 675 ETFs tracking MSCI indexes globally, more ETFs track MSCI’s indexes than those of any other index provider.
