UK-based discretionary fund manager Rowan Dartington has launched a new division which extends the groups services to English-speaking advisers based around the world.
In a statement released earlier today Rowan Dartington, which is part of St James’s Place, announced that it has formerly launched Rowan Dartington International.
The new entity provides the international adviser and trustee communities and their clients with discretionary investment management services available across different wealth platforms.
“Rowan Dartington’s DFM services have been extremely successful in the past few years and we definitely want to replicate this internationally,” said Graham Coxell, executive chairman, Rowan Dartington (pictured above). “Our experience has shown us that there is a significant demand from English-speaking advisers based abroad for this type of service.
The firm has appointed Stephen Kevan from ABC Capital Markets in Mauritius to head up the new operation. Kevan spent five years in Mauritius most recently developing the Chinese-Mauritian conglomerate’s wealth management offering. He will be based in Bristol and has previously held senior positions at Old Mutual International and Barclays Wealth.
“Our initial focus will be to deliver appropriately adapted versions of our highly successful UK DFM services into the International IFA and Trustee sector, ” said Kevan. “We are known in the UK for working with our IFA partners to deliver collective and fully bespoke solutions that are flexible in their design.”
Currently dedicated to international advisers only, Rowan Dartington International added that it will look at developing its offering to offshore private clients in the future.
