Three out of every four investors are considering change their risk profile when considering investments due to uncertainty surrounding the current global geo-political backdrop, according to readers of International Investment.
In a special survey conducted as part of last month’s first ezine edition (edition 15 of International Investment), we asked IFAs and product and services providers alike: “Are clients attitudes to investment risk changing amid the changing political backdrop?”.
75% answered “Yes”, with 25% stating that they felt that clients attitudes to risk were “About the same” in the survey. Due to the uncertain political backdrop brought about by Brexit, tensions between the US and North Korea and the crisis in Catalonia, many financial advisers are now helping clients restructure investments to reflect their changing risk attitudes.
