Nordea appoints new group CEO from within

Nordea, the Nordic financial services provider, has announced that Frank Vang-Jensen wil become president and group CEO, taking over from Casper von Koskull, who will stay with the bank until 2020 to facilitate the transition.

Vang-Jensen has been head of Personal Banking and a member of the group executive committee. He first joined Nordea in 2017 as head of Personal Banking and Country senior executive for Nordea in Denmark, before being promoted to his current role in 2018. He will continue to head Personal Banking until a replacement is announced.

Before Nordea, he worked at Handelsbanken, including as president and CEO.
