Sanlam UK grows its new private office with two Close Bros execs
Sanlam UK, an arm of South Africa’s listed Sanlam financial services group, has named two executives to oversee business development at its recently-launched family office.
Jonathan Moon and Will Cayzer both come to Sanlam Private Office from Close Brothers Asset Management, and assume the roles of business development director and business development assistant respectively.
Moon joins Sanlam UK having spent the last two years at Close Brothers Asset Management, where he was business development director. Previously, he held similar roles at Tilney Investment Management and Tilney Bestinvest.
Cayzer joins after also having spent the last two years at Close Brothers Asset Management and previously spent time at Fleming Family and Partners.
The new private office was unveiled in August, when Sanlam announced that it would be headed up by Penny Lovell as chief executive, and that it would look to cater for high net worth clients with a minimum of around £1m in assets.
Lovell is also an alumna of Close Brothers AM, where she worked for five years as head of private client services. Prior to this, she worked for Rothschild Wealth Management as managing director. Formerly, she held various senior positions at Fleming Family & Partners, and Coutts.
