Prudential’s Eastspring targets French investors
Eastspring Investments, Prudential’s Asian investment management arm, has teamed up with third-party marketer OUI-LINK INVESTMENT to market its investment products in France.
Eastspring will orchestrate this new French venture via its Luxembourg based UCITS SICAV.
The Singapore-based investment house opened branches in Luxembourg and London branch three years ago.
The firm said it would “leverage OUI-LINK’s network and asset raising experience in order to communicate on both its unequalled presence throughout Asia and its wide range of SICAV funds”. It added it hopes to create an institutional investor client base in France.
Eastspring has assets under management of US$131 billion, and has a presence in 10 Asian markets, alongside its newer European presence. It has a huge range of equity, bond and mixed asset funds. Its equity funds are heavily Asia-centric, while its fixed income funds include both Asian and US bonds.
OUI-LINK INVESTMENT, which specialises in asset raising and promotion of high alpha and actively managed funds, begins marketing Eastspring’s funds in France in March 2016.
