OMI appoints Hull as operations director

Old Mutual International (OMI) has announced the appointment of Simon Hull as operations director for its 400-strong Isle of Man-based business.

OMI, the international arm of Old Mutual Wealth, said in a statement that it has added Hull (pictured) to it senior leadership team with responsibility for customer services, supporting Old Mutual International’s global offices.

Hull has spent the last 16 years working in the Isle of Man and the Channel Islands and joins the business from Barclays where he spent the last five years building  the company’s customer-focused operational teams.

Prior to that, he held both managing director and director roles at Conister Bank, Alliance & Leicester and Manx Financial Group respectively.  He has international financial services and operational experience and has worked with financial regulators across the British Isles, US and India.

Based in Onchan, Isle of Man, OMI’s 400-strong team provides cross-border financial services and operational support for local and expatriate investors, with clients in the UK, Europe, Singapore, Hong Kong, Dubai, Latin America and South Africa.
