Guernsey’s Marlborough Int’l names head of business development
Guernsey-based fund management company Marlborough International has appointed Linda McLaren to the newly created role of Head of Business Development.
McLaren, who has 20 years’ experience managing relationships with international financial advisers, joins the firm from Brooks Macdonald, where she was business development director for the offshore market.
Marlborough International said in statement that in her new role McLaren will work at a strategic level, helping to develop and implement Marlborough International’s growth plan.
McLaren said: “I’m looking forward to working with a team who understand the value of working in partnership with advisers over the long term to provide the best possible outcome for clients.
Marlborough International offers a range of offshore funds of funds and a managed portfolio service. It also provides a range of offshore single-strategy funds, which feed into the UK-domiciled fund range operated by Marlborough Fund Managers.
Marlborough International and Marlborough Fund Managers are associated companies. The Marlborough group of companies has assets under management of £10 billion.
