Bob Pain steps down as Investors Trust Assurance, SPC chairman

Bob Pain has stepped down as Cayman-based Investors Trust Assurance, SPC chairman as of 1 June. 

The ITA SPC board said in a statement announcing the changes, that it will look to recruit future directors who are based in The Cayman Islands, where ITA SPC is headquartered.

Pain, (pictured below left), a well-known figure in international life circles and current chair of Association of International Life Offices, has left the ITA SPC board by mutual agreement after five years’ service; however, he will continue to work with the company in a consultancy role.

A spokesperson for the company also said that Pain will continue with other consultancy and non-executive director work as well as continue as the Association of International Life Offices chairperson.

“It has been a pleasure to be part of ITA SPC over the last five years and I would like to thank the owners, the board and the company for a successful and fulfilling career with them,” said Pain.

“I look forward to advising them going forward and being able to work on other projects, including as the chair of the AILO and as a director and Trustee of Halton UK, a non-profitmaking charity multi sports centre.”

ITA SPC board of directors said that it would like to thank Pain for his contribution to the company over the last few years.

“We look forward to continuing our relationship with him as an advisor and consultant,” the statement said.
