Platform One revamps team as it prepares for expansion
Platform One has added to the ranks of its management with two appointments and a promotion, as it looks to expand its services in the offshore market.
Jeremy Sims has been named operations manager at Platform One, which he comes to from Fund Partners, where he held a similar role. He succeeds Chris Forero-Slee, whose title had been head of commercial relationships, and who left the company some weeks ago to become head of risk and compliance at rival platform company, Novia Global. Prior to joining Fund Partners, Sims had been operations manager at JP Morgan, where he handled global trade settlements.
Also joining the company, as business development manager for the UK and Ireland, is Julie Rowe (pictured, right). She joins Platform One from Informed Decisions, where she was involved in helping to provide systems and transition services to advisory firms. Although her position is a new one, some of her duties had formerly been handled by Forero-Slee.
In another development at the Wimborne, Dorset-based company, Rita Solanki (pictured, left) has been promoted to the newly-created role of head of international business development. She has been business development manager, having joined Platform One some years ago.
Michael Fordham, managing director at Platform One, said the appointments reflected the company’s plans to “significantly enhance and expand the platform services we provide”.
The new appointments at Platform One come weeks after the company announced the appointment of Clive Boothman to the newly-created role of group chairman.
Platform One is authorised and regulated by the UK’s Financial Conduct Authority, and makes use of MiFID to passport its services into all 28 EEA member states.
