Hawksford has appointed Eric Dolan as the new head of governance risk and compliance. Based in Jersey, Eric has overall responsibility for the Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) region.
A specialist with more than 20 years’ experience in the financial services industry, including with the Jersey Financial Services Commission (JFSC), Dolan will be responsible for the company’s Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) strategy.
Echazarra has over seven years’ experience in financial markets, having worked for international houses including most recently Carmignac, where she was account director for Spain. Previously she worked at BNP Paribas and Louis Vuitton.
Vontobel, the Swiss asset manager, has announced Yann Lepape will join its bond team to focus on global flexible bonds. He joins from Oddo BHF Asset Management, where he spent seven years as an emerging markets portfolio manager and sat on the global investment committee.
During his time at the French group he was also responsible for global macro analysis and the asset allocation of the €8 billion balanced fund range.
Nucleus, the investment platform operator, has hired Valerie Rogerson to lead its client relations team. She joins from Standard Life Aberdeen. Rogerson brings more than 10 years of experience to the role, which involves giving Nucleus’s adviser firms operational support and promoting best practice.
Barclays Wealth Management
Barclays Wealth Management has hired Graham Nicoll to lead its merged Midlands, North & West market covering all teams outside of London and the southeast of England.
Nicoll re-joins Barclays Wealth Management from KPMG, where he spent three years advising entrepreneurs and SME management teams across a range of industries about how to combat both operational and strategic challenges.
