DeVere’s Mike Coady leaving company after 12 years

Michael Coady, one of the deVere Group’s best-known top executives and head of its various UK operations, has left the company, it has been revealed.

The company, which is said to be the largest internationally-focused, independent financial advisory firm, didn’t respond to requests for information on Coady’s departure. Coady himself, pictured, also could not be reached for comment. However, his LinkedIn profile shows that he left at the end of November, and that he is now listing as his professional title “Fellow of the Institute of Directors”, an accreditation he was awarded in July.

Coady began his career with deVere in the Gulf, but in recent years he has been based in the UK. There, since January of this year, one of his titles had been head of the company’s executive committee. He had also been managing director of deVere’s mortgages division, deVere Mortgages; managing director of deVere UK; and chairman of deVere’s UK Workplace Solutions operations.

He is also a qualified member of the Chartered Insurance Institute and Personal Finance Society, according to the CII’s online database.
