Lombard IA advances with digital transformation
Lombard International Assurance has added a series of new features to its online digital platform for high-net-worth and ultra high-net-worth individuals.
The Luxembourg-based investment specialist said in a statement announcing the update that the new features will enable partners to oversee policies online by activating policy servicing and transactions requests directly from its Connect proposition.
New digital forms added enable partner and client requests to be automatically prefilled with policy-related data, the company said. Partners can now submit a range of documentation using electronic signatures, as well as track the progress of transactions and retrieve confirmation letters.
As reported in January, Connect is a described by Lombard IA as a “purpose built digital servicing platform” that provides online and secure access to client data, and transaction information.
The additional functions will also allow partners to monitor transactions and queries, stay up-to-date with policy valuations and access additional online support through an interactive query handling facility, which is available via any device 24/7.
Lombard IA added that “further innovation” in online functionality and enhancements to the platform – including additions, change of address and change of beneficiaries – will be available by the end of the year.
