International Investment reader poll points to technology dependancy

Technology has become a very important component of the vast majority of financial services companies, according to the readers of International Investment. 

On the International Investment website we recently polled financial advisers, wealth managers and industry professionals within its readership to gauge just how many rely in technology.

When asked the question how important is technology to your business? 86% of respondents said that it was “very important”, with just 12% stating that technology was “important, but not vital”.

Only 2% of respondents said that technology was not very important to their business needs.

The poll highlights the recent shift towards financial technology or fintech, with many firms now reliant on technology to conduct their financial serve its businesses.

As reported, recent drives in the Middle East have seen a rise in the number of fintech companies and in London, post-Brexit, the UK government has positioned London as a global finch hub as it looks to fill the gaps that are.
