London Forum: The Art of Offshore Investment

The Awards also mark a return to the centre stage of the global financial services industry by International Investment, which is hosting the ceremony, as well as a preceding event on the day:  The Art of Offshore Investment is the first forum event hosted by International Investment since its relaunch earlier this year.

The Forum offers UK-based wealth managers and financial advisers access to information on the benefits of investing offshore. Also taking place on 12 October, the Forum includes:

  • Avoidance or Evasion: What is and what is not acceptable? As a delegate you will benefit from the expert opinion on offer in the plenary session on tax planning before choosing which of two streams to attend for the afternoon.
  • Stream A will focus on tax and will include sessions on estate planning, IHT, and trusts. The benefits of offshore bonds versus other investment products and the impact of tax changes in recent years will also be covered by our sponsors.
  • Stream B will focus on investment planning and will include sessions on outsourcing and the role of discretionary fund managers, the advantages of platforms for advisers, the use of passive strategies and ‘protected downside’ investments. Continuous Professional Development certificates will be issued to all delegates at the end of the conference. This half-day event will take place in Central London and will be followed by the prestigious International Investment International Fund & Product Awards, now in their 17th year.
