Lombard posts record growth and new biz premiums of €5bn

US-headquartered Lombard International today announced its results for 2017, posting record growth in new business premiums of €5bn.

Assets under administration grew to €74.3bn (as of 31 December 2017), an increase of €3.4 billion or 4.8% from €70.9 billion in the previous year. The Corporate Administration AUA totalled €33.1bn for 2017, an increase of €500m or 1.4% on 2016.

Lombard International is expanding its operation in the Americas, Asia and Europe, and specialises in providing wealth structuring solutions for high net worth individuals, families and institutions

Commenting on the results, John Hillman, executive chairman of Lombard International, said: “2017 was an outstanding year for Lombard International, with record growth in new business and a robust increase in assets under administration. These results reflect our continued leadership position in the market, our investment in new initiatives, and our expanding global footprint.”
