International Investment international ezine edition is live
International Investment’s move from print to digital has produced its first ‘ezine’ digital editions with a UK and an international version of the multi-media offering now available.
In our International edition we have a round-up of the latest interview news – including a video news report form the Isle of Man regarding RL360’s plans for further international growth as it makes plans to bed in its recent FPI acquisition.
This ezine’s regional focus is on The Cayman Islands. The long-term stability of the Cayman Islands, coupled with its early willingness to participate in global efforts to create an international network of automatic information exchange, and similar schemes, are seen as helping it to maintain its place as a top financial services jurisdiction, particularly for hedge funds.
In our fund manager profile we look at Aberdeen Standard Investments’ MyFolio multi-manager team’s plans for international expansion and talk to head of multi-manager Bambos Hambi about how the recent merger with Standard Life and Aberdeen is settling in and how that will dovetail into MyFolio’s retail proposition.
The Big Interview with deVere CEO and founder Nigel Green is the lead article across both UK and international editions. Well known in the UK and internationally, the fact that Green rarely does interviews, never mind video features, makes this doubly special.
Using our new ezine format we have been able to bring you, our readers (and viewers) a revealing video feature packed with editorial exclusives that mixes both forms of media to produce a unique look and feel.
Having been given exclusive behind-the-scenes access, with one of industry’s most compelling and often heavily-criticised figures, we were not disappointed by Green’s forthright approach to questions. We hope that you enjoy the results.
In our UK edition, it is no surprise to see regulatory issues feature heavily, but a ruling that UK expat pensioners living in the EU will continue to have their state pensions uprated and will therefore avoid having their state pensions frozen, according to the latest UK government legislative proposals, will come as a relief to many.
Both editions also include a new comprehensive directory of some of the UK and international investment industry’s main players.
